Well it's 4 weeks until my daughter gets married.  This Wednesday the ladies of the Fire Department are giving a bridal shower.  On Saturday evening we are having an engagement party at my apartment.  And then on Sunday, October 14th we will have a bridal shower for family & friends at Karen's apartment.  The wedding is Friday, October 19.

She made her bouquet this weekend and a smaller one for Calyn.  It looks very pretty.  Pinks, blues, purples.

I worked on de-cluttering my living room and working on the carpet stains.  It looks pretty good right now.  I still need to recheck it again but I ran out of the 'Resolve' and I have to pick up some more.

On Friday, Calyn was going to her dad's for the weekend.  When he came to pick her up, she absolutely refused to go with him.  Karen told me he was crying and everything.  I felt sorry for him.  They did get her to go with him Saturday morning but she put up a fuss then also.  We'll be watching her to see what the reason is that she didn't want to go.  She used to love to go to be with her dad. 

She has just recently started calling Gerald, daddy.  Not all the time but sometimes.  She said she wanted to call him daddy.  I know it can be so frustrating and confusing for a child when their parents divorce, no matter what age the child.  I myself am a child of divorce.

Next payday I will go looking for a dress or something real nice to wear to the wedding.  I've looked online but I have to try on things.  What may look cute on the hanger can look awful when you put it on.

I've started sorting through some of the boxes I have in my closet in preparation for my move.  I will be so glad to get moved!
