What a day for a daydream

Friday finally got here!  They changed some things on my computer at work so I can't log in to bravenet from there.  I'm finally home and taking a few moments to update things here.  I've been going through the stuff in my desk drawers.  Straightening and tossing.

Last Saturday I decided to get my hair cut and while there I talked to the lady about what to do to work towards getting my natural color back.  By now, most of my natural color is white.  I've been coloring my hair and it was a light brown with reddish tones.  Well, she did an extreme highlight job and now I'm a blonde.... haha  From this it can grown out and blend in as it grows.  It's been quite a shock to me and to most everyone.  I'm beginning to get used to it though.

I've got 'Forrest Gump' playing on tv in the background.  One of the guys at work said while he was in California he ate at "Bubba Gump's".  He said there was even a Forrest Gump look alike out front.  I thought that was cool.

Tomorrow I can go look at my new apartment.  I'll take measurements so I can play with furniture placement on paper.

Next week on Friday, the 19th, Karen gets married to Gerald.  She has been a wreck trying to keep up with her own life.  Hope things calm down for her once she's married.  We'll see.

She had to take Calyn to the allergist and he's going to do two days of allergy test (needle pricks on her back) - the 18th and Nov 5th.  On the 22nd she has a CAT scan of her sinuses.

And Karen got another abnormal pap.  She has to go back in January.  She's real depressed about that.  They were hoping to start trying to get pregnant in January.  I can't imagine what it must be like for her to continually get these "bad reports".

This year has really flown by.  Before you know it, Christmas will be here.  As it is, Karen's birthday is October 25th.  She'll be 25.  I can remember being 25.  I got married at that age.

Come on cold weather!  I'm ready.  It's getting a little cooler but for you guys in the north this would be more like summer for you.
