It won't be long now until it's Christmas.  Time has really flown!  This fall has been real busy for me.  My daughter got married, then Thanksgiving & getting ready for Christmas.

Karen got a new job working for an ambulance transfer service.  Unfortunately for her, it's 3 days a week from 4 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Which means Calyn spends the night with me on Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday.  Poor Karen feels like she doesn't get to see her own daughter.  She has a couple of interviews tomorrow and is hoping for something closer to home with better hours.

This Friday night Calyn will spend the night while mom & (step)dad go to the Fire Department's Christmas party.  Gerald is in "fire school" so he's been real busy too.  That will be over the 19th.

Calyn & I plan to go look at Christmas lights and grab a bite to eat while we are out and about.  We watched "The Polar Express" the other night.  Neither of us had seen it before.  And, of course, we both loved it.  She wants one of the sleighbells for Christmas.  I may see if they have one at one of the craft stores.

I just love to see Christmas through a child's eyes.  Everything is so A W E S O M E (as Calyn would say. LOL).
