and wish you beautiful week!
Happy Easter !
a spinning yellow tag to you
How far are you moving ?
Actually, blue is my favorite color, but I think the purple looks purty. LOL! Have a great weekend!!!
I write with the cartoon series "Max and Ruby" playing in the background. Calyn is watching. Her mom doesn't get off until 7 pm. At least we are at my home tonight. Last night she wanted to go to their home, which is only a block away but you know how it is, you are always more comfortable in your own home.
She is healing fine and has no problems from her surgery last Friday. She can now do anything she wants, within our reasoning of course. It rained here so we are inside, otherwise I would probably have let her ride her bike. She got it for Christmas and loves to ride her bike.
A guy at my work bought Calyn an Ashton Drake baby doll. The hands, face & feet are porcelain. It's wearing a pink tutu and has blonde hair. Some people are just naturally loving and generous. He's a single man a few years younger than me with no nieces or nephews. I thought it was sweet that he would think of Calyn. And I don't think he's ever met her, just heard about her and seen her picture.
I've been a little restless lately. I don't really know why. Maybe I'm just a little stir crazy. I haven't had a vacation in years. When I was a child we took a 2 week vacation every summer and went camping and sight seeing. Once I hit 16 I didn't really appreciate the trips anymore, I had my own things I wanted to do. Now, I wish I could turn back the clock and re-experience a lot of the things I did with my family.
I was thinking on the way home about my mom. This October she will be gone 20 years. I still miss her. I didn't appreciate my mom until I was grown.
I've also been thinking I want to put up my wind chimes. I haven't put them up since I moved. I love to hear them when the wind blows.
Now Calyn asked me to get out her water colors and book so she can paint. Guess I'll go watch her and get her talking - like that's hard.
