This weekend I stopped by the Antique Mall.  I shouldn't have!  I could spend hours in there.  Not that I can afford much.  I got a blanket chest and a three drawer side table for beside my bed.  The chest looks like an old treasure chest with a flat top, it is now residing in front of the couch to be used as a coffee table and ottoman.  The three drawer chest is beside my bed.  I was using an old sewing machine table that used to be my ex mother in law's.  I spent about $70 total for both.  They were marked $60 & $50 respectively but were on sale for 40% off.  You should have seen them crammed into the backseat of my little Cobalt!  LOL

I've been wanting a new bedside table and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this for $50.  Then I saw the chest and it was $60.  I wasn't going to get the chest but when I found out they were both on sale I decided, what the heck.  I don't often buy much for myself so I splurged.

I want to buy some new pictures for my walls but have only seen one at Walmart that caught my eye.  I might still go get it.

Tomorrow morning I go to my doctor for our "talk".      I tried to buy "healthy" foods when I shopped for groceries last weekend.  Hopefully I will be able to get my act together.  I did it once before when I was first diagnosed with diabetes (type 2) and did really well but a lot has happened in my life since then.

These are my new "purchases".
