Tonight I have my 4 year old granddaughter over to stay the night while her parents have an adult night out.  We went to McDonald's (not really on my diet but I've been pretty good).  She was running around the tables pretending to be a horse or on a horse, I think some of both.  I sat there saying, go ahead, wear yourself out!

We got home and she had her bath and washed her own self and her hair (or so she says).  I had to get the rest of the soap out of her hair though.  Now she's playing with some dominoes and watching her movie - The Justice League.  It's a cartoon with the Green Latern, Superman and some other characters I'd don't remember.  She loves this movie!

Since my computer is in the same room I can be here while she is on the otherside of the couch.  And I love to watch her when she's playing.

I've been eating better and backing off on all the between meal snacking.  I'm not perfect yet but I am doing much better.  I figure if I ease myself into I can make it more of a life style.  We'll see what the scales say next week.

Last Saturday I went to Mercer Arboretum with my camera and just walked around and took pictures.  They aren't much to talk about but I just wanted to play.  I figured it was a good way to get out and get some excercise.
